pulses reads a synthetic solar spectrum, and fits and subtracts a sliding median continuum. It then computes a Lomb–Scargle periodogram (and a spectral Fourier transform), and plots the median-subtracted flux together with the best-fit sinusoid to reproduce the figure included in the repository.
