[ascl:2511.027] BNS_NURATES: Neutrino-Matter interaction rates for binary neutron star mergers
BNS_NURATES computes neutrino-matter interaction rates under conditions relevant for binary-neutron-star mergers. It provides both energy-dependent (“spectral”) and energy-integrated (“gray”) emissivities and opacities. The library uses the GNU Scientific Library, supports parallel execution via Kokkos with optional CUDA or OpenMP backends, and is header-only for easy integration into other codes. A minimal working example computes neutrino rates for a single thermodynamic point, enabling post-processing analyses of merger simulation outputs.
