The IMRPhenomD model generates gravitational wave signals for merging black hole binaries with non-precessing spins. The waveforms are produced in the frequency domain and include the inspiral, merger and ringdown parts for the dominant spherical harmonic mode of the signal. Part of LALSuite (
ascl:2012.021) and also available as an independent code, IMRPhenomD is written in C and is calibrated against data from numerical relativity simulations. A re-implementation of IMRPhenomD in Python, PyIMRPhenomD (
ascl:2307.023), is available.
