GAMA_quasarhosts_starformation analyzes galaxy- and quasar-host photometric data from the GAMA Survey to estimate star-formation rates (SFRs) for quasar host galaxies. The code compiles host-galaxy photometry and performs SED-based fitting to derive SFRs for a sample of quasar-hosts in the GAMA fields. It also applies quality cuts and selection criteria defined in the repository to separate reliable host SFR estimates from less certain ones. The pipeline outputs tables of galaxy properties and plots that can be used for analysis and publication.

SFR_ChebyFit_example performs a Chebyshev-polynomial fit to the median offsets between two star-formation-rate estimators, CIGALE (ascl:1111.004) and MAGPHYS (ascl:1106.010), derived from a control galaxy sample. It then applies this fit to quasar-host SFR values to correct them onto the MAGPHYS baseline. The code safely clips input values outside the fit domain, computes the corrections, and produces diagnostic plots and a histogram of corrected SFRs for visual inspection.
