FindPOTATOs links together minor planet detections to form a tracklet, which is required to submit minor planet observations to the Minor Planet Center. The software accurately finds near-Earth Objects (NEOs) as well as Trans-Neptunian Objects (TNOs). FindPOTATOs uses Ball Tree algorithms, which partition data efficiently and reduce searching time during various steps through the algorithm.
